WINTER PLAYING RULES

EFFECTIVE FROM MON 31ST OCTOBER, 2022


1. Preferred lies in play throughout the course.

2. No play from the fairway or rough unless using a MAT or LAUNCHER.

3. 10 yard stakes indicate where a ball may be chipped / pitched, as it lies, onto full greens only.

4. Electric trolleys MUST be fitted with winter wheels.

5. A ball coming to rest in an aeration hole on a main green may be lifted and placed not nearer the hole.

6. Bunkers are in play – you may play the ball as it lies or you may lift, clean and place within 6” but not nearer the hole.

7. When not in play temporary greens are “NO PLAY ZONES” and you must take relief as per rule 16.1b.

8. Ride on buggies / electric trolleys / push trolleys are permitted unless otherwise indicated by the greenkeeper. Please refer to the Daily Course Status on ClubV1.

Please follow all on-course signage and avoid roped-off areas.

These rules have been introduced to protect the course over the winter period.
